Travel Day with Toddlers to Hawaii
I knew waking up on this day was going to be a very CHALLENGING and EXHAUSTING day to say the least. However, we also knew it would just be for a day, and then we would be in our happy place HAWAII! I kept on looking at pictures of Hawaii on my phone for motivation! Haha
Chris and I had such positive mindsets going into this trip which definitely helped with travel day! My husband is extremely good with travel so that always gives me so much peace and comfort knowing everything will be okay! There were serval highs and lows throughout the day as you can imagine with a 1 and 3 year old. The worst was when I got motion sick as we were landing in Kauai! Of course it would happen to me! Thank the Lord there were vomit bags right in front of our seats! 🤦♀️😩 That was a complete nightmare.
A couple of weeks before the trip, we started getting snacks and activities together for the littles. I was just hoping that what we brought would be enough to get them through! We ended up doing pretty good on that front! We over packed with SNACKS, and i’m so glad we did because that was truly our life saver. We packed two gallon size ziploc bags full of snacks. One bag for Austin and one bag for Addison. This was extremely helpful! They liked having their own bags to choose from, and it caused less tantrums between the two!
MILK- my children love milk and delta did not have it on the plane so we would stock up in the airports!
Tablets, stickers, and play-doh was also a hit and kept them busy and happy on the plane. Here are some must haves we brought on the plane with us for the littles!
